Caladonno
Caladonno is set in the depths of winter with high snow drifts and a frozen lake. The station was really an afterthought in the design necessitated by the realisation that Fenditavalat could not accept the longer trains that had become the norm on the extended layout. The loop allows trains to jettison excess wagons and to return for them later. The station is another area where work is required.

The 2-6-6-0T passes Caladonno's enirasignalo as it crosses the curved viaduct. The frozen lake is in the foreground.

The station building mock up is is inspired by Alp Grum on the Rhaetian, although it is not as imposing!

The view back along the line shows how the station sits above Lacono, with the siding leading to the cassette visible in the left foreground. Caladonno's church tower is just visible behind the red roofed buildings at Lacono. This supports the far end of the cassette.
